Get Kids Moving In Your Classroom With Our Surfboards!

Rotational movement of the trunk. Lateral push and pull of legs while balancing. Slight knee bend and engaged core. Neuroscience- There are muscles in our eyes that focus near and far and muscles that allow us to track left to right and up and down. These muscles should be strengthened in the same way as our arm muscles. Eye tracking exercises the muscles in our eyes to increase the length of time that the eyes can focus on reading.

Classroom activity - how can you incorporate the surfboards into your classroom?

Balance on boards with both feet on the boards at all times-working on mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, greater than less than, etc. Students can work on teacher provided content with a partner or from the smart board. They may also work only on balance by moving the marble through the figure 8 and waves on the board.
